E’ Carl Hester che vince la gara clou della giornata aggiudicandosi il Grand Prix Special con Dances with Wolves ed il 74.479%, gara sul fil di lana con la spagnola Beatriz Ferrer-Salat che guadagna il 74.188% con Delgado che vale il secondo posto, in terza posizione la belga Claudia Fassaert che con Donnerfee ottiene il 70.625%.
Unica italiana in gara il carabiniere scelto Monica Iemi che chiude in quindicesima posizione con il 60.063% in sella a Vancouver.
