CDI-W Wellington: Laura Graves e Arlene Page si dividono la tappa di Coppa del Mondo di Wellington

Nel settimo appuntamento con l’edizione 2017 del circuito Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF), Graves e Verdades continuano la propria ascesa. Arlene Page conquista lo Special all’esordio in un FEI Grand Prix Special con Dr. House 2.

Parte sfondando il muro degli 80 punti percentuale il weekend di Coppa del Mondo di Laura Graves. L’amazzone statunitense e Verdades lasciano l’arena con l’ottimo 80.240%, una conferma del nuovo livello di intesa e preparazione raggiunto, che si aggiunge al punteggio oltre l’80%, 80.080%, ottenuto in occasione dell’ultimo Grand Prix 5* disputato a Wellington lo scorso 9 Febbraio.

Secondo posto nel GP di apertura del big tour per Steffen Peters in sella a Rosamunde con 74.820%, seguito in terza posizione da Kasey Perry-Glass su Goerklintgaards Dublet con il 73.200%.

Il Grand Prix Freestyle disputato venerdì sera in occasione del consueto evento “Friday Night Star” incorona nuovamente la prova di Laura Graves e Verdades che grazie al punteggio di 81.903% chiudono conquistando il gradino più ambito del podio. Alle loro spalle, Steffen Peters e Rosamunde lasciano l’arena con 78.732% guadagnando un’ottima terza posizione, ma cedendo il gradino che avevano occupato al termine del Grand Prix alla connazionale Kasey Perry-Glass in sella a Goerklintgaards Dublet, al secondo posto con 79.541%.

Successo nel Grand Prix Special per Arlene Page su Dr. House 2. Il binomio, che ha scelto il CDI-W di Wellington per esordire in una prova Speciale, mostra ai giudici grande feeling e concentrazione guadagnandosi al termine il 71.629% che varrà loro il primo posto. Al seguito, con 71.294%, un altro binomio statunitense, Katie Poag su Zonnekoning, mentre l’amazzone canadese Jill Irving si piazza al terzo posto grazie al 68.059% ottenuto in sella ad Arthur.
